I began my journey with Limu Lean and have gone into my third week. I have updates to complete for you from last week. I don’t know how much I will have lost this week. You’ll find out soon. I can tell you I lost three pounds the first week. I have been on the road for most of this week (in McAllen, TX right now) and last week. Stay tuned as I have a lot of information about how I am doing with Limu Lean. I will tell you how this system worked when I spent a lot of time traveling or away from my regular routine. Until this weekend…………

Happy drinking and don’t get discouraged

Last weekend I attended The Limu Company annual conference. A new product, Limu Lean, was introduced as a weight management system. I have been a distributer with The Limu Company since 2006 and have enjoyed drinking Limu – a tasty superfood drink, and really enjoy Blu Frog Energy – a tasty, healthy, low calorie low calorie drink.

Now comes Limu Lean and over 1,600 pounds have been lost with Limu Lean Weight Management System, including pounds from the distributors in the trial and company employees.

I know most of the distributors and was amazed when I saw them at the conference. Somehow they kept the secret. One had confided in me last year at conference about how the weight was getting him down. He looked darn good this year and I wondered what he did, but he didn’t reveal his secret until Saturday of the conference.

I was able to bring home a month’s supply of Limu Lean to try for myself. If I am going to recommend this to others I want to know how it tastes, feels, etc. and it comes in chocolate and vanilla. I have already completed a post about Limu Lean a few day ago so I am not going to go into what it is and what is in it. Please read my previous post for the information.

In the past I have tried just about everything that didn’t cost an arm and a leg. Years ago I lived in Dallas and would go to the gym daily and was pretty slim and trim. Then I moved out and away – there went the daily gym, even though we have decent gym equipment in the home. Ken and I used to do three mile walks and he would run three miles often. Then he hurt his back in the mid 80’s, had surgery and the doctor said no more running.

Then in the 1990′s I made a full switch from journalism and photography into full time law enforcement. Once I did that I started to spend a lot of time sitting on my butt! Then there were the long hours in the patrol car plus hours sitting at the computer entering casework. I retired in 2007 and went to work in a new, but similar civilian, position that allowed me more time to pursue some of my old passions. I became much more active and noticed I started to lose weight. Not a lot but somehow and from Nov 07 until March 20, 2010 I had lost 32 pounds! About five of those pounds continue to fluctuate up and down and I am back at the weight I was at in 1993 when I went into law enforcement on a full time basis and not as a reserve. While it is easier to be active, I am not there yet.

However, even though I had lost 32 pounds, I am still wearing the same size clothes. Granted a few of the shirts and pants are somewhat bigger, overall, I haven’t lost any inches. To my amazement while I sat and listened at the Limu Conference to those who had been on Limu Lean for three months they were not just losing weight, but INCHES, and a LOT of inches. That perked me right up. I used to be a very active and athletic person and I still love to hike, SCUBA and more. Wouldn’t it be great to be able to keep up with my granddaughter, who is almost 10, without dying at the end of the day? We go on some fantastic adventures and have some planned for this summer. (Hopefully not like the one where I seriously broke my foot five minutes in at the diamond mine in AR)

I am starting Limu Lean now and am very serious about managing my health and my future. I plan on living a very long and healthy life. There are so many things to see and do. I only have 2-3 things left to do on my bucket list from high school, but there are plenty more things I want to accomplish before the end and I want to have fun doing them.

OK, so what was my weight last Monday? It was 185. Tomorrow I will step on the scale and check the weight and inches to see how much was lost. The information will be in the next post.

We got to  know each other face to face this year at in Orlando at Izeafest which was one of the wildest and craziest conferences I have ever attened. Can’t wait for next year.
